Marion Pride Lemnyuy is eight years old. She is a class five pupil of Ecole Public Des Champion Limbe, Cameroon. On Saturday the 1st of October 2016, she was made leader of Educate a Child in Africa, Inc’s. Play and Learn | leadership club activities of Animal Farms. The young aspiring Medical Doctor loves solving arithmetic problems. Marion called on Fru Marie Jemaine to offer a word of prayer and Ntangu Terry to lead in the singing of the club anthem.
Marion asked her friends to settle down and introduced the first activity of the day. Using Educate a child in Africa, Inc.’s learning bricks, the children identified and described different professions. Tanyu Jennifer, a form one student from Government Bilingual High School Limbe described and illustrated the act of playing football while Ngwenchu Tracy said a doctor is someone who is trained to treat and take care of sick people
The club members moved on to play the game of “Meaning to Me”. Here, the children orally presented imaginary letters to different personalities. Marion’s letter appreciated her mother for taking care of her, providing her needs and giving her a proper upbringing. Jennifer wrote a letter to her teacher thanking her for educating and encouraging her to study hard to become a successful person in the future.
Marion loves playing the game of “Touch and Follow” with her best friend Fuen Nathalie. As the games ended, she thanked her friends for coming and encouraged them not to miss the subsequent Play and Learn | leadership club rendez-vous. Marion sang and danced with her mates, appointed Jennifer to pray after which the children left the hall chatting with one another.
