Jenifer is a form one student of Government Bilingual High School Limbe, Cameroon. She is eleven years old and her ambition is to become a Nurse. She was appointed leader of the Animal Farm club activities on the 3rd of March, 2017.
‘Confidence’ was introduced as the word of the day and explained to the children. The youngsters formed little groups and acted short plays that portrayed different aspects of confidence in their day to day interactions.
The children played the game of ‘Know Your Country’. Jenifer distributed drawing materials to her friends. They each drew a map of Cameroon and divided it into the ten regions with their capitals. The club members each presented their maps and identified the different regions of the country and the capital cities.
At the end of the activities, Jennifer encouraged her friends saying; ‘Believe in yourself and work hard, then you will be able to achieve your goals in life’. The children all seemed contented and confident as they left the hall.
