Keziah is a form two student of Government Bilingual High School Limbe, Cameroon. She is eleven years old and a member of the Play and Learn | leadership club of the Maffany Residential Area. On the 15th of March 2017, she coordinated the club activities. ‘Teamwork’ was the word of the day. The children presented different scenarios where teamwork is demonstrated and the benefits of working as a team.

Keziah led her friends to play the game of ‘Know Your Country’. With the use of drawing materials, the kids drew and presented the Map of Cameroon. They indicated the regions that make up the country and their tribes of origin.

The game, ‘Unique Roots’ was introduced as the last activity of the day. Here questions on Civics and Ethics where written on pieces of papers. In the form of balloting, the youngsters selected and responded to each question. One of the questions read, ‘How many divisions are in Cameroon’? Lindy responded “58 divisions”.

Keziah was so amazed by her leadership skills, and she said “Thanks to the Play and learn | leadership club, I am bold enough to express myself amongst my peers”. The club members left the venue reflecting about the importance of working as a team.
